‘THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON’ directed by Tyler Nilson, Michael Schwartz, doesn’t neatly fit into any particular movie genre. And it takes its inspiration from movies like ‘Forrest gump’ or Rain man. It’s purely adventurous and viewers can get a unique flavor. And yes you’ve got Shia LaBeouf figured out, he goes and makes a film like “The Peanut Butter Falcon,” a unique outlaw character which didn’t match with any others traditional movies story line. It’s a story about a small time outlaw who forms an unlikely bond with a boy with Down syndrome. These characters are played by Shia LaBeouf and Zack Gottsagen(a newcomer).
One day a boy with Down syndrome finds an old VHS tape of a wrestler named the Salt Water Redneck (Thomas Haden Church, doing his best Hulk Hogan). That’s thing made him obsessed with becoming a pro wrestler.
