Tours to Paris- as seen through my eyes

|

I’ve been to Paris several times and can honestly say that I’ve never enjoyed it. I tried and tried, but I couldn’t notice the attractions that I had anticipated after reading numerous romantic novels set in this city…

It was a filthy, stinking city with too many tourists and haughty locals, at least that’s how I saw it.

I went to all of the main tourist attractions, including the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur, Notre Dame, and the Louvre, among others.

The Eiffel Tower was just a giant metal pointy thing that was so crowded you couldn’t move, the Sacré-Coeur area was full with beggars and people trying to sell you meaningless armbands, and there are so many cathedrals that are more magnificent than Notre Dame.

However, a friend of mine adores Paris and persuaded me to return there. We agreed that instead of visiting popular attractions, we would try to soak up the vibe of the world’s supposedly most romantic city.

It’s a wonderful city to roam around in. You’ll only need a city map to get started. You may also take the metro, but I didn’t enjoy it since it’s very difficult and you constantly end yourself somewhere other than where you wanted to go. I would advise you to hire a taxi because it is quite inexpensive.

We were in Paris for three days and walked about 80000 steps.

I took a lot of pictures without knowing what I was photographing. I made it just because I enjoyed it, not because I needed it for my collection or to show my family and friends.

It began to rain on the third day of our visit, and the temperature dropped dramatically. We were unprepared for the weather and had to go shopping (well, it was a good excuse to do some shopping anyway). We visited Galeries Lafayette, which is the most beautiful retail mall I’ve ever seen. It’s also possible that it’s an Opera House!
