Travel to a cathedral in barcelona spain

This cathedral is much more than a place of warship; it’s a major tourist destination in this lovely city on Spain’s northeast coast. It was free to access when I went in the summer of 2019, however there was a guard out front with a hand counter and turnstile keeping track of how many people came and went. Because there were so many people, I had to wait in a long line to enter the building.

The interior of the Cathedral was fascinating, with a courtyard, geese, palm trees, and the sun streaming down on it in the center. Large passageways with sunken walls surrounded this courtyard, featuring religious exhibitions and artifacts behind locked bars to keep them safe and secure.
